There it was...something I never, ever, would've heard over my local stations....Closed Head Injury, American Music Club, Tackhead, The Legendary Pink Dots, Zoviet France, Silver Apples...to name a paltry few... This was a world revealed, an untapped source of obscure, yet compelling tunes from programs like Brent Bambury's "Brave New Waves" or David Wisdom's 'Nightlines". It was a treasure trove of well curated precious gems from indie scenes all over the map and from different decades. In a pre-internet world this was the key to being the ultimate music snob!
